Each year, over 300 Arrowmen from across Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New York, and Europe gather for the annual Section Conclave, a weekend-long event designed to help unify the Lodges in our Section, provide an inspiring training program, and most of all, have fun!
Section NE-2A's Annual Conclave will be happening from June 11-13, 2010 at Camp Sequassen in New Hartford, CT. This year's Service Lodge is Owaneco Lodge of the Connecticut Yankee Council. The cost of this year's Conclave is $35 if registered before April 30, 2010.
Conclave Schedule
The 2010 Conclave will run from Friday, June 11 through Sunday, June 13, 2010. The festivities will kick off on Friday night with an opening show. Saturday morning begins with the opportunity to take part in training opportunities covering a wide variety of topics to help your Lodge.
In the afternoon, Arrowmen at the Conclave will have the opportunity to participate in a huge selection of recreation activities including sports competitions, aquatics, climbing, an OA history display, live music, and more! Saturday evening brings the much anticipated theme show, followed by a live patch auction and movie.
Sunday morning, youth Arrowmen in attendance have the unique opportunity to take part in the election of new Section Officers (Chief, Vice Chief, and Secretary).
Conclave Leadership
The Annual Conclave is led by the Section Officers, along with appointed Conclave Vice Chiefs (CVCs) who are responsible for a specific area of Conclave program. In addition, the Service Lodge appoints a Conclave Coordinator and Conclave Adviser to act as a liason between the Section and Service Lodge. Below is the 2010 Conclave Leadership:
